Instrument Donations

Music is such a powerful medium, and an instrument is a powerful tool. Playing an instrument can improve cognitive skills, teach discipline, give ambition, keep kids out of trouble, and so much more. But instruments can be expensive, and there are so many families that have to worry more about feeding their kids, than buying an instrument for them. If you have an instrument that is collecting dust, you should see if there is a school or a non profit in your area where you can donate instruments. There might be a kid out there that you are helping out in more ways than you will ever know.

If you are in a hurry to get an instrument for school. Try going to a local music store to see if they have used instruments. Then tell the owner/employee that our website (Virmedius.com) will advertise their music store and promote them on our social media for FREE if they give you a 20% discount. It might work…it might not!! But we are happy to help if we can!! If they DO give you a discount, just have them come to this website page and fill out this form, and we will create an ad promoting their music store!

Gift of Music

The Gift of Music Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to creating greater accessibility to music programs, instruments, teachers and the overall benefits of music education.

Founded in 2015 as a response to an ongoing nationwide decline of funding and lack of prioritization for music education, our organization is diligently working to ensure access to music for the country’s at-risk youths. We do this by forming critical partnerships with music teachers, public schools and organizations to reinforce our core belief that music matters!

Hungry for Music

At Hungry for Music, our mission is putting quality musical instruments into hungry hands. We serve children who demonstrate a desire to learn music, as well as teachers who have students willing to learn.

In 27 years, we’ve delivered more than 16,000 instruments to children in all 50 states and 32 countries.

We believe that by sharing instruments and musical experiences, children who would not otherwise have the opportunity can experience a kind of freedom and self-discovery that is often stifled in an atmosphere of economic hardship.

Global Music Project

Through Global Music Project’s Musical Instrument Donation Program, we provide instruments to underprivileged adults and children around the world. As you can imagine, a musical instrument can change someone’s life. We have donated musical instruments to orphanages, schools, and individuals in cities and countries around the world.
