Dorothy had a spiritual awakening while witnessing her guitar tech’s life slip away right before her eyes. He overdosed on her tour bus and her first instinct was to pray. His life was miraculously spared, and her life was never the same.
Some say that facing death helped them come alive. After getting a glimpse of the afterlife they no longer feared death, so they could now take full advantage of their life. The experience on Dorothy’s tour bus sparked motivation in her 3rd album release, “Gifts From the Holy Ghost.”
With Rock music and a soulful vocal it’s the perfect blend of darkness and light. And of course the light wins…because you can only have darkness in the absence of light.
