The story usually begins with “She began drumming when she was only wee lass.” 🙂 But that’s not the case with this iconic German drummer. Anika Nilles started playing when she was 26 years old. But apparently she ‘hit the ground drumming’ because she is now one of the most influential drummers in the world.
Anika has authored articles for DRUM! magazine, Rhythm, and has written her own educational book entitled PAD BOOK.
