The much anticipated EP “Yea, Yeah” by Bode-ga has finally dropped! Listen and add to your playlists, your listeners will thank you.
Olubode, known by his stage name Bode-Ga, was born on June 7th 1992 in his hometown of Staten Island, NY. At the age of ten, Bode-Ga had begun his rise in New York with performances at the Copacabana and Mr.Bloomberg’s first inauguration. Although his road looked paved with progression, in middle school Bode-Ga fell sick with Endocarditis and found himself in a coma for six months. Through the struggle of waking up, learning how to walk, and gradually writing again, Bode-Ga decided to take time to perfect his art and utilize what he think is the second chance he was given; leading us to June 7th 2018.
It was on this day that Bode-Ga released his first single titled “Life” off his debut E.P “Yea, Yeah” leading him to land a management deal with Entourage based in LA only days later. Following his first performance at Amazura as a opening act for Dej Loaf, & J Critch hosted by Power 105.1, Bode-Ga continued his smooth melodic take on Hip Hop and R&B with his second single “P.Y.T”. Power 105.1 continued their support as P.Y.T landed Bode-Ga his first headlining show at Colony 274 hosted by Dj Norie and Dj Prostyle himself. With a growth in momentum Bode-Ga dropped his third single and first music video titled “Dedication” which earned itself 17,000 views to-date on youtube.
As the end of 2018 nears, and SxSW 2019 around the corner, Bode-Ga aims to end his year off strong with his recent performance as a opening acts for Love & Hip Hop & Gwinin’s own Dreamdoll at Spotlight in Binghamton, NY. With two music videos set to release before the end of the year, followed by his debut E.P “Yea, Yeah” he looks to start off 2019 with a buzz.
